Why Dunamis Church Is Ending Live Broadcasts — Pastor Enenche’s Surprising Move

Dr. Paul Enenche has announced that Dunamis International will no longer stream services locally. Read why.

…. Congregation Effectiveness, Not Just Viewership, Is Now Priority at DIGC

In a bold shift aimed at revitalizing in-person fellowship, Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), has announced an immediate end to all domestic live broadcasts of church services.

During the Sunday service, the pastor emphasized a biblical mandate from Hebrews 10:25: “Let us not give up meeting together.” He urged parishioners to reclaim the essence of gathering with fellow worshippers in physical assembly, stating that home viewing of services no longer aligns with the church’s spiritual objectives.

“Assembly is very important…Those used to watching from home, today may be the last day you do that. We are stopping all live broadcasts except those overseas who may not have access to a physical church,” Pastor Enenche declared firmly.

Dunamis International previously aired its services live on Dunamis TV, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms during Sunday and midweek gatherings. This initiative significantly boosted its digital outreach, but for Dr. Enenche, it’s time to recalibrate focus.

Why the Change?

Restoring Authentic Community – By discouraging remote viewing, the church aims to rekindle authentic fellowship and participation, fostering unity and accountability among members.

Spiritual Discipline – Physical presence encourages personal investment in worship, accountability, and corporate scripture study—measurable commitments that virtual attendance can’t fully capture.

Biblical Alignment – The policy mirrors biblical exhortation to meet regularly, acknowledging that true spiritual growth thrives within communal environments.

While the decision excludes overseas worshippers who lack physical access, it challenges the local congregation to rediscover the transformative power of gathering together.

DIGC has yet to clarify how the new policy will affect those with limited mobility or health issues, or how the church plans to support them moving forward.
