The United Abia Artists and Patriots Forum (UAAP) has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, hailing his leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to the transformation of Abia State.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the President of UAAP, Amb. Dr. Osita Offor, popularly known as “De Ultimate Commander,” and the Secretary-General, Comrade Emenike Iroegbu, the forum expressed deep appreciation for the governor’s strides in repositioning the state for greatness.
“Today, we celebrate a leader whose passion and dedication to the welfare of Abians have set a new standard in governance. Governor Alex Otti has not only restored the confidence of the people in government but has also proven that true leadership is about service, accountability, and impactful development,” the statement read.
UAAP highlighted Governor Otti’s numerous achievements within a short period, noting that he has successfully changed the negative narratives that once defined Abia State. The forum commended his focus on infrastructural development, financial prudence, healthcare improvements, and economic revitalization.
“Governor Otti has embarked on massive road rehabilitation projects, including the long-abandoned Port Harcourt Road in Aba, which was previously a nightmare for businesses and residents. His administration’s dedication to transparency and due process in governance has brought a renewed sense of hope to Abians,” the statement added.
The forum further acknowledged the governor’s ongoing civil service reforms, which have ensured prompt payment of workers’ salaries and pensions. According to UAAP, under Otti’s leadership, Abia is gradually regaining its lost glory as a hub for business, commerce, and industrialization in the South-East.
