Nigeria Immigration Service break silence over Recruitment Exercise

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) clarified on Wednesday that it is not currently recruiting new personnel.

In a concise post blending English and Pidgin on its official X account, the service warned the public to be wary of scammers seeking to defraud them.

They urged everyone to stay vigilant and avoid falling prey to scams. The message emphasized that any recruitment notice not issued by the NIS should be considered fake news.

The post stated: “For emphasis: The Service IS NOT CURRENTLY RECRUITING!!!

“Don’t let them steal your hard-earned money. Stay wise. Don’t fall victim.

“Our official social media handles across all platforms are @nigimmigration. If you don’t see it tweeted by us, it’s FAKE NEWS.”
