Governor Alex Otti commends Abia Warriors for their outstanding performance in the 2024 FA Cup finals, highlighting their remarkable journey and encouraging them to aim higher in future competitions.

 

 

The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has expressed his pride and admiration for the Abia Warriors Football Club following their impressive performance in the 2024 FA Cup finals. The governor extended his heartfelt congratulations to the players, technical crew, management, staff, and dedicated fan club for their remarkable achievement in the prestigious competition held in Lagos State.

 

The Abia Warriors’ journey to the finals has brought immense pride to the state, showcasing significant improvement from their past performances. This year’s FA Cup edition marked a historic milestone for the team as they reached the finals for the first time. Governor Otti commended the team for breaking the jinx and encouraged them to use this experience as motivation for future challenges, reminding them that “every champion was once a runner-up who refused to give up.”

 

In his congratulatory message, Governor Otti also expressed his deep appreciation to the people of Abia State for their unwavering support and encouragement, which played a crucial role in propelling the team to the finals.
