Some operatives of the Rivers state police command, have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force over allegation of ki-dnapping a man in Aba, the commercial city of Abia state and extorted $3000USDT from the victim.

An X user, @harrisonbbi18,  had on Friday evening, tweeted that the policemen came into Aba, picked the man and took him to Rivers state, Bayelsa and Delta states, extorting the money from him after which they took him back to Port Harcourt where he was dumped.

The user had tweeted;

Reacting to media inquiry over the matter, the Rivers State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, on Saturday, confirmed that the policemen have been arrested and detained.
