The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has been released four months after being detained by the Department of States Services (DSS).
Bawa‘s release was on Wednesday night, confirmed by the DSS through it’s Director, Public Relations and Strategic Communications, Peter Afunanya.
Recall that Bawa was arrested on June 4, 2023, after President Bola Tinubu ordered his suspension, citing abuse of office.
