The chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdullahi Ganduje, Julius Abure, and Umar Damagum, respectively, have arrived at the Supreme Court to hear the apex court’s judgment regarding the appeals of the LP and PDP presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, respectively, against the election of the APC candidate, President Bola Tinubu.

Also present in court were the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and Atiku Abubakar’s lead counsel, Chris Uche SAN.

The party chairmen exchanged pleasantries as they arrived at the sitting.

This newspaper learnt the court will broadcast its judgment live.

At the time of filing this report, the sitting was yet to commence.

Recall that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had dismissed the petitions filed by Atiku and Obi, ruling that they failed to prove their allegations of electoral irregularities and malpractice.
