BREAKING: Tinubu Inaugurates 45 Ministers Confirmed By The Senate | READ DETAILS

President Bola Tinubu is currently inaugurating 45 persons who were approved by the senate as ministers designates into the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The inauguration and taking of oath of office and allegiance, is happening at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, 84 days after Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023.

Recall that Tinubu had sent a 48-man ministerial list to the Senate in two batches for confirmation. 45 were approved while three others including the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, were kept on hold by the Senate due to outstanding security issues against them.

He assigned portfolios to the 45 persons confirmed by the Senate last week.

Over the weekend, the successful persons did their documentation at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
