In post on Twitter, Akpata revealed that he joined the Labour Party on March 2023, but decided to have an interaction with members of his ward Oredo Ward 6, in Benin-City on Sunday 30th July 2023.
He posited that during the Sunday meeting, he was formally introduced to the members of the party in his ward and also collected his party card.
