Why You Should Not Abandon Me If You Defect – Fubara To Wike | READ DETAILS

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has begged his political father and predecessor, Nyesom Wike not to be too far away from him if he decides to defect from PDP to APC as “everybody wishes for”.

Fubara while speaking on Sunday at a thanksgiving reception held in honour of Wike at his private residence on Ada-George Road, in his hometown, Rumueprikom in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the state, said there are ‘sharks and tigers’ looking for who to hurt. He stated that with Wike being around him, he will be guided on running the affairs of Rivers State.

In his words;

“While we are seeing sign that it’s like you want to go over to the other side with everybody wishing that, please don’t be too far from me because I know that the sharks, the tigers are really around looking for what to hurt.

“So, being around would continue to guide and put my head straight for the purpose of this state”.

Recall that Wike had admitted to have supported Bola Tinubu of the APC against the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the concluded 2023 election.
