ABIA: You Are Owing Us – NUT Counters Gov. Ikpeazu | GIVES DETAILS

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Abia State Chapter, has described the statement signed by Secretary to State Government Barrister Chris Ezem regarding to salary payment as untrue.

In the statement, the government posited that they are update in the payment of salaries and other emolument of core civil servants. The government equally requested that civil servants who are on strike in the state to return back to work as the process of meeting up with outstanding salary obligation is on. 

In a swift reaction, NUT has described that statement as false and went further to enumerate welfare packages that the government have failed to pay.
