ABIA: Ikechi Emenike Is A Youth Friendly Governor In Waiting – Agodi Okoro

Hon. Agodi Okoro, the director of youth mobilisation for High Chief Ikechi Emenike campaign council, has described his principal, who is the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Abia State, as a youth friendly personality who is keen on running a youth inclusive government if elected into power come March 11, 2023.

Okoro in an interaction with ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER on Monday, January 30, 2023, noted that the passion which Ikechi Emenike has for the overall welfare of the teaming youths of Abia, made him apportion 70% of his programmes to the youths as slated in his manifesto.

Agodi Okoro who is a youth philanthropist and a renowned educationist expressed confidence that with Ikechi Emenike as the next governor of Abia State, the youths will be empowered and employment opportunities created, even more than he has been doing in his personal capacity.

“Ikechi Emenike has empowered a lot of youths and is still empowering youths” he added.

The youth mobilisation director also noted that High Chief Ikechi Emenike recognises youths and their potential and loves to utilise the values imbedded in youths regardless of their place of origin to give them a better life.

Speaking on the presidential/governorship rally of the APC held at Umuahia township stadium on January 24, Okoro said he mobilised over 10,000 youths, which he said was a feat that can only take a capacity driven person under Ikechi Emenike to achieve.

Okoro stated that in all the political rallies held in Abia state, Ikechi Emenike is topping as various youth organisations and pro groups have continued to show massive support because of the capacity and vision of Emenike.

He also stated that among other candidates vying for the governorship position in Abia State, Emenike is the only man who truly wants to rescue and develop the state.

He noted that other party candidates have in one way or the other, contributed to the current condition of Abia state and should not be allowed to remain in the corridors of power in the state, if truly Abians desire development.

“It’s either that they have been part of what has kept Abia state in where it is today; in one way or the other, they have contributed to where we are today” .

“High Chief Ikechi Emenike is the only governorship candidate that when you put his name on Google for search, you’ll get 100% clean record. He has a clean slate, he has a clean record; he has never been involved in any issue of embezzlement and such” Okoro said.

Agodi Okoro expressed confidence that Ikechi Emenike under the APC, can beat other governorship candidates at the poll, as his track records has shown him capable of bringing the required change in Abia state.

“Ikechi Emenike has the will; he has all it takes to win”.

“He has the capacity to beat other candidates” he added.

Referencing the Independent and National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s data, Agodi Okoro noted that youths between the ages of 18-34 and 35 – 49 make up over 75% of the total number of registered voters across the nation and in Abia state.

He called on all the Abia youths to vote for Ikechi Emenike as he is resilient and capable to develop the state, adding that the future of Abia youths is secured under Emenike.

Meanwhile, High Chief Ikechi Emenike’s campaign rally across the 17 local government areas of Abia state, will begin on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
