Abia States Requires Serious Leadership Intervention – Alex Otti | READ DETAILS
Ahead of the forthcoming transitional election, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has said that the state needs serious leadership intervention to save it from challenges it has been faced with for years.
Otti who was speaking at a convention service held at Wesley Methodist Church Aba on Sunday, said that the leadership challenge in Abia state has prompted the rhetorical question, “Can Anything Good Come Out Of Abia” like was asked in the case of the Biblical Nazareth.
He assured Abians and Nigerians that something good can come out of the state and country, however, they must take advantage of the forthcoming election to change the narrative in governance.
” If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; he said, quoting the scriptures.
Others who attended the church service with the governrship hopeful include; his wife, Mrs. Priscilla Otti; the Labour Party deputy governorship candidate, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu and the Aba North and South Federal Constituency Labour Party candidate, Hon Emeka Nnamani.
Others in his entourage were LP candidates – Hon Ucheonye Stephen Akachukwu, Aba Central State Constituency; Hon CEmmanuel Emeruwa, Aba South State Constituency and Hon Destiny Nwagwu, Aba North State Constituency.
