This was disclosed by the Abia State Chairman of Labour Party, Mr Ceekay Igara on Wednesday, while speaking to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER.

According to Igara, the rally in Abia state which is expected to be the grand finale of Obi’s campaign tour in south eastern states, was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, however, a new date for Peter Obi’s visit will be announced later.

“We had gotten the government’s approval for the Umuahia township stadium; in fact, the approval came very fast than I had expected. We had also written to security agencies, in preparatory to his visit and notified all the people we needed to notify that we are to receive our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, unfortunately, something happened which is beyond our control and a date was moved” the state chairman said.
