The candidates relayed their personal antecedents, agenda for the people while seeking their votes.

Earlier in his address, the chairman of the event, Chief Sam Eke PhD, charged the people to consider the numerous challenges facing the people of Ikwuano ranging from bad road networks, unemployment, lack of development among others before chosing their preferred candidates. He noted that Ikwuano which contributes largely to the economic strength of the state deserves a better position than it currently occupies.

“We want to have leaders that will realize that they are there to render services to the people”.
