Police Officers Traveling To Akwa Ibom For Games, Dies In Road Accident
Two female police officers identified as Pc Godiya and Pc Kubra, have died in a road accident while traveling from Borno to Akwa Ibom state for the 13 Biennial Police Games Uyo 2022.
According to ASP Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar, the Gombe State Police Public Relations Officer, the fatal accident occured along Jos axis, leaving 15 officers with various degrees of injury.
The PRO tweeted on Tuesday;
Our personnel from Borno Police Command were involved in a fatal motor vehicle Accident along Jos axis on their way to A/Ibom for the upcoming 13 Biennial Police Games UYO 2022 leaving 15 personel with various degrees of injury while Pc Godiya and Pc Kubra paid a supreme price.
