Former military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) is reportedly set to wade into the crisis rocking the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to the information privy to LEADERSHIP, the former Nigerian leader is expected to hold a closed-door meeting with the presidential flagbearer of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and the camp of governor Wike of Rivers state, also known as G-5 in Minna, the Niger State capital in Friday.

The meeting is coming barely three days after IBB also received the presidential candidate of the rival All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his team at his hilltop residence in Minna.

Recall that the G-5 governors had on Wednesday during a visit to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state said that they are open to reconciliation to which Abubabakar welcomed. (READ HERE)
