Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyers Serves DSS, AGF Notice Of Release | SEE DOCS

Following the court of appeal judgement, discharging Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of all terrorism charges levelled against him by the Federal Government, the legal team of Kanu has served the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami and the Department of State Services (DSS) a formal notice for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the lead counsel of the IPOB, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor on Tuesday, the legal team of Kanu is expectant of a definite compliance with the appeal court’s judgement by Federal Government.

“Final formal notice for the release of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu issued to both the Attorney General of the Federation and Director General of the State Security Service.
We expect definite compliance today as we are monitoring event” Ejiofor wrote on his social media handle.

Recall that the appeal court Abuja division on October 13, 2022 discharged Kanu of the charges against him.

The notice of release signed by Mike Ozekhome, Lead counsel to Kanu, is seeking the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.
