How Man Was Found Dead In His Room After 4-Years | PHOTOS

One Mr. John Aderemi Abiola have been found dead in his room in Adeosun community, Awotan area of Ibadan, Oyo State,  four years after he went missing.

The already decomposed body of Abiola who was last seen during one of his occasional trips to Ibadan was discovered on Sunday.

According to report, community members contracted labourers who scaled into the compound of the deceased through the fence as the gate was locked from inside.

The labourers were recruited to clear grasses in the compound as it was overgrown. On entering the compound, they discovered that the Volkswagen Golf with registration number AKD 769 DC, belonging to Abiola, was in the premises and has been covered with grass.

After managing to cut down the bush, the labourers and other residents, peeped through the window of the building and saw the skeleton of the decomposed corpse in his bed with a phone in his hand.

Drugs used in the treatment of high blood pressure were said to have been found in the apartment.

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso confirming the statement to newsmen said;

“Investigation is ongoing, updates would be provided accordingly.”
