”Arteta Lacks Leadership Qualities”- Arsenal Told To Fire Coach

Premier League bigwig, Arsenal has been told to part ways with Coach Mikel Arteta on the heels of the side’s 3-0 defeat to League counterparts, Tottenham Hotspur.

Thursday night’s outing ended on a low note for the Gunners who left with nothing but a red card and reduced hope for the top four spot on the log following two goals from Spurs, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min’s second-half effort.

Reacting, former Arsenal youth team player, Jay Bothroyd has launched an onslaught on the side, stating its decision to appoint Arteta in place of rival coach, Antonio Conte is the reason for their struggles.

40-year-old Bothroyd also insisted the Spanish coach lacks leadership qualities, adding his mismanagement has cost the club the desired top four spot and consequently a chance at next season’s Champions League.

The English player explained the team should have sealed the deal with Conte before Tottenham’s management even had the chance to.

“If Arsenal do get in the Champions League, I wonder what they’ll be like then when they’re in four competitions.

These are the kinds of game where I question Arteta’s leadership qualities.

This is what makes me question whether he’s the right man for the job.

I don’t see leadership qualities at all.

It’s poor, it’s mentally weak, and that stems from Arteta. Unfortunately, these are the kind of games where I question him.

You can play against teams like Brighton and Burnley, where Arsenal win games and you say, ‘Oh, he’s great’, and so on.

I don’t think this would happen with Conte.

This is why I was I was saying I wish Arsenal just took Conte before Tottenham did, because they would have, arguably, one of the best managers in the world.”

Meanwhile, 40-year-old Arteta has insisted his team should be exonerated from any blame, stating their loss should be attributed to  referee Paul Tierney.
