Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah is a quintessential Philanthropist and an ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER award winner for humanitarian and community development service.
His acts of service to humanity has spanned over the years with no atom of self-interest or political undertone, which is a very rare human attribute.
Some of his philanthropic acts over time includes; the distribution of food and relief materials to villages in Ohafia which cushioned the effect of the Covid-19, the equipping of an E-library hall built by him for students in Amaegbu Ohafia, installing of transformer for power generation, construction of the road (Amangwu-Amaekpu Ohafia road), sponsoring Unity Cup Football Tournament for Ohafia youths among others.
Subsequently, after the first edition of the Unity Cup Football Competition that was sponsored by him, he has decided to take it a step further with the second phase of the competition.
The Manager of his foundation, Mazi Jonah Okoro wishes to inform you that arrangement has been concluded for the hosting of of the 2022 edition of Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah Cup Football Tournament for Ohafia youths between the month of September and December this year.
The competition aims at identifying, harnessing, developing the soccer skills as well as foster the spirit of unity amongst the youths for future profitable engagement.
Teams from all the villages in Ohafia community are expected to participate in this grand event.
