The crisis rocking the All-Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia State seems to have been resolved as the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC today Thursday 3rd February 2022 swear in Chief Kingsley Ononogbu as the chairman of the party in Abia State. Chief Ononogbu was sworn-in along other party chairmen from other States of the federation.
This action by the National APC seems to have settled the dispute as to who is the authentic chairman between Honorable Acho Obinna and Kingsley Ononogbu.
This could be a huge blow to the Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s faction of party which is led by Honorable Acho Obioma, as this move may have given more weight and pedigree to High Chief Ikechi Emenike who is the party leader of Ononogbu chaired APC in the state.
