Ikpeazu @57: The Less Privileged Celebrates, As Ikpeazu’s Body Of Advisers Visit Charity Homes |SEE PHOTOS

In celebrating the birthday of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu Ph.D, the Body of Special Advisers to the Governor on Sunday October 2021 kicked off the birthday celebration of their boss with visits to charity homes across the State.

The top aides of the Governor who represented their boss in the homes maintained that such acts of benevolence were in tandem with the compassionate characteristics of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu whose over-flowing milk of human kindness is self-evident.

 

Some of the homes visited included the School of the Blind Afaraukwu, Motherless Babies Home Uzuakoli, Ngwa Road Motherless Babies home Aba, SDA Motherless Babies home Aba,  CKC Charity Home Ntigha, Motherless Babies home Asaga Ohafia, Agape Children Home Old Umuahia among others.

The principal of the School of the Blind Afara thanked the Governor and his wife for their numerous extensions of kindness which has been sustaining the home. She said that the first family had always sent people to them to with gifts and supplies to support the students.

 

The Reverend Sister in Charge of the CKC Charity Home at Ntigha Isiala Ngwa North LGA was very elated that the Governor thought it wise to share such a special day with children in the home. She said that such gestures are in line with biblical injunctions which attracts blessings to the givers.

In all the homes the care givers were full of thanks and prayers for the State, the Governor and his family including officials of Abia State Government.

 

Speaking to news men Advisers and Aides including Hon Collins Nwakanma, Imo Obike Mascot, Chinenye Nwaogu, Ken Okere and several others thanked the Governor for the opportunity to be part of his government to contribute to the growth of the state and expressed hope that more developmental strides will be witnessed in the remaining part of the Governor’s tenure in office.

 

The highpoint of the visits was the presentation of several food items, provisions, cash and cutting of the symbolic birthday cake, while the inmates and students sang and prayed for the Governor, Abia State and her officials.
