Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Cross has revealed why he attempted suicide twice, while he was much younger.

Cross revealed this during his Diary Session on Friday, day 27 of the show, when Big Brother asked him to share his thoughts on the topic of mental health, which the housemates have been tasked with.

According to Cross, the topic is personal to him as he went on to reveal that he faced dark moments in his life which caused him to attempt suicide twice.

He said,

“There was a period in my life when I wanted to commit suicide. It was a very dark moment but this was years and years ago. It was quite dark, about twice.

“Well, I give God the glory because, at the end of the day, I survived it – the two times.”

This is not the first time that Cross has revealed some personal experiences he had while growing up as an adult.

In a conversation with Peace last week, Cross had revealed that he first handled a gun at the age of 15.

He also talked about how he has been able to cover up deep emotions by being overly joyful and playful most of the time.
