The Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchenna, has lauded executives of Nzuko Aro Umuahia Branch and described the body as a great one.
The Deputy Speaker who stated this when executives of Nzuko Arochukwu Umuahia Branch paid him a courtesy visit, explained that he is happy to receive them.
Rt. Hon. Uchenna, hinted that the relationship between him and the member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, remains a cordial one.
He promised to continue to work for the benefit of the people of Arochukwu as a great kingdom, while promising to assist them to acquire a piece of land for their Town Hall.
Earlier during the visit, the President Nzuko Arochukwu Umuahia Branch, Mazi Nnamela Obaa, explained that they were in his office to thank him on his cordial relationship between Arochukwu and Ohafia, which the Deputy Speaker has been championing.
Mazi Obaa, also used the medium to solicit for a piece of land for the body, to build their Town Hall and to assist Umu Aro in their appointment into various government positions, such as Commissioner and Permanent Secretary.
Continuing, the President Women’s Wing, Mrs. Cordelia Nwokoro, during the occasion invited the Deputy Speaker for the women’s forthcoming Mass Return in October and prayed God to continue to bless him.
During the occasion, the Deputy Speaker redeemed a pledge he made during Aro Day celebration in November 2019.
In his vote of thanks, the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, expressed delight on the Deputy Speaker, for the warm reception he accorded his people.
The Lawmaker specifically thanked the Deputy Speaker for always exhibiting robust and wonderful relationship with him, despite party differences, and urged him never to relent.
