Dr., Barr. Okwun Ojah ‘Onwa 1 of Ohafia’, an Australian based humanitarian cum philanthropist who hails form Amaekpu community in Ohafia LGA of Abia State has made donation of food items to Amangwu community in Ohafia LGA.
The philanthropist donated 50 bags rice to the Ohafia community through his foundation the “Okwun Ojah and Family Foundation”.
According to Mazi Jonah Okoro who spoke on behalf of the foundation ,he stated that Chief Okwun Ojah donated the food item to the community to cushion the effect of the tormentous situation experienced by the residents who were suddenly displaced from their homes as a result of alleged recent onslaught by soldiers in the community.
This not the first time Chief Okwun Ojah is embarking on such a philanthropic gesture.He is a man well known in Ohafia and beyond for his concern for, and contributions to Community Development and welfare of the grassroots.
He is a two times Abia Facts Newspaper (now All Facts Newpaper) award winner for community development.
