H0T: Baba Ijesha Appears In Court With A Book; ‘How To Thrive In Perilous Times’ | SEE DETAILS/PHOTOS

Nollywood actor Olarewaju Omiyinka a.k.a Baba Ijesha has appeared in court with a book titled; ‘How To Thrive In Perilous Times, for his first hearing.

Baba Ijesha who appeared before the court today, Wednesday, June 16, was arrested on April 22, by the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly s-xually abusing  a 14-year-old girl under the custody of a comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, popularly known as Princess.

The case was stalled as the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria(JUSUN) were on strike.

 

Following the resumption of the judiciary, Baba Ijesha’s hearing begins today.

Nollywood Actor Yomi Fabiyi, and others, also appeared in the magistrate court to show support for the accused actor.

Fabiyi, who spoke to journalists, said;

“I am in court because I believe in the rule of law and I have right to come to the court and observe the case.

“The young man is my colleague; I cannot deny him at this stage, I am too refined for that.

“I want to see how the court (hearing) will go because there are so many lacunas, so many things that should have been done.

“I want to see how the rule of law and justice is being served.”
