Governor Buni tied the knot with Gumsu, daughter of a former Military Head of State, Sani Abacha, at the Abuja residence of Mohammed Abacha, the bride’s brother.
Report says, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Hameed Ali, among other government officials attended the wedding.
Buni had in 2019, married the daughter of his predecessor, Ibrahim Gaidam, shortly after he assumed office as a governor.
45-year-old Gumsu, now the governor’s fourth wife, was married to a Cameroonian multi-billionaire, Bayero Fadil Mohamadou.
Gumsu and Mohamadou, were married for about 20 years and divorced in 2020.
