2027: APC jittery, doesn't want strong opposition - Dele Momodu

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dele Momodu, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is jittery ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Momodu made this statement on Friday while responding to questions in an interview on The Morning Brief, a programme on Channels Television.

“It is obvious that the ruling party is jittery; the ruling party does not want any strong competition in 2027 in particular.

“They are not bothered about the governors but want a sole candidate. If possible, they want all political parties to stand up and endorse one man, President Bola Tinubu.

“So I was not surprised when the news broke again yesterday that these guys are on their way to court. We don’t know what is going on. There’s nothing wrong with anybody going to court,” he said.
