2023 Poll: Zamfara APC Stakeholders List Security As Precondition To Deliver The State

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Members of the All Progressive Congress Zamfara has vowed not to support Tinubu if the security issues in the State is not arrested.

This is contained in a statement signed by the APC Zonal Publicity Secretary (North West)
during a ‘Fact Finding Tour Across States of the Zone on Wednesday.

The statement reads: APC NORTH WEST LAND IN ZAMFARA IN CONTINUATION OF ITS FACT-FINDING TOUR ACROSS STATES OF THE ZONE: PARTY FAITHFULS YEARN FOR SECURITY COMMITMENT AHEAD OF 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

As the Fact-Finding tour of the North West Zonal Officials of All Progressives Congress reached Zamfara on  Wednesday, the stakeholders of the party in the State assured the Zonal Chairman Malam Salihu Lukman and his team that they have unflinching loyalty to the party in whatever course and they are united in all fronts to give the party the required result necessary to claim the state in totality. Yet, they demand the commitment of the presidential and all other candidates vying for electoral posts from the party for them to deliver the state to them.

The participants gives emphasis to the reality that Zamfara is APC State, noting that it was APP/ANPP and now APC since 1999 and nothing can change that for the fact that all those that matter in the state politically are inseparably united in APC. Yet the party’s stakeholders demand a serious commitment on deteriorating security situation in the State and the region from anybody vying for any electoral post especially the presidential candidate from the party to work for his success.

The National Vice Chairman North West of the APC Malam Salihu Lukman pledged to take this all important message to persons concerned with no hesitation, immediately after the tour of the geographical Zone is concluded as report on assessment made from the interaction with the party stakeholders across the Zone is being compiled and will be taken to the National Chairman of the party as well as any relevant entity.

Lukman expresses satisfaction with the level of unity among party members in the state. He is also particularly impressed with the depth of their loyalty to the party and salute their courage for tabling their demand as what they will be expecting from whom they throw their weight upon come 2023.

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Zamfara State Dr. Bello Muhammad MON (Matawallen Maradun) who was represented by the State’s Chairman of the APC Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani thanked the delegation of the Zonal leadership of the party for this timely visit to the State and assured them that measure which  are not supposed to be disclosed to public concerning security situation in the state are being taken and the result will be appreciated.
